Located directly next door to Eighth Day Books, The Ladder is the official headquarters for Eighth Day Institute. Inspired by the twelfth-century icon based on a treatise by St. John Climacus titled, The Ladder of Divine Ascent, our work at The Ladder encourages visitors to embark on a spiritual journey of ascent through spiritual practices that lead people to union with Christ.
