In this talk, we will take the full measure of the damage that cell phones have done to our youth. We will denounce the demonic plotters of Silicon Valley who set out to turn kids into screen addicts. We will remember the digital cheerleaders of 2008—Wired Magazine, libertarians, Gates Foundation, PEW Research, various educators and academic—who proclaimed Millennials at the keyboards geniuses in the making, and we will compare their predictions to reading and writing scores in recent years.
